How I Can Help You

You may have achieved a great deal and still find it difficult to feel secure in yourself. Perhaps you constantly raise the bar, worry about making mistakes, compare yourself with others, or feel that your value depends on what you accomplish.

These patterns can show up as perfectionism, impostor feelings, overworking, procrastination, people-pleasing, or burnout. They can leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or unsure why success never seems to feel enough.

Therapy can offer a space to step back from these pressures and understand what keeps them going. Together, we can explore the beliefs and patterns that shape how you relate to yourself, your work and other people, and develop more flexible and compassionate ways of responding.

My Therapeutic Approach

I primarily draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy—two evidence-based approaches that help us understand and change unhelpful patterns that may have developed over time. Together, they allow us to combine practical tools for present-day challenges with a deeper exploration of the roots of your emotional difficulties.

Depending on your needs, I may also draw on:

Narrative and Systemic Approaches to understand your experiences within the wider context of your identity, relationships and life story.

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to cultivate awareness, presence and a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings.

Couples Therapy for Depression to address the relationship patterns connected with depression and emotional distress.

Behavioural Couples Therapy to support couples experiencing relationship difficulties.

CBT for Long-Term Physical Health Conditions to manage the emotional impact of ongoing health challenges.
