CLINICAL SUPERVISION / TEACHING & TRAINING / CONSULTATION

Supporting thoughtful, confident practice

Working in mental health is deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Whether you are a newly qualified therapist or an experienced clinician, your capacity to support others depends partly on having your own space for reflection, development and care.

I believe supervision and professional development are not simply about maintaining standards. At their best, they protect and nurture the qualities at the heart of good practice: compassion, curiosity, integrity and lifelong learning.

I also work with organisations seeking psychologically informed support for staff wellbeing, communication and emotional culture.

Clinical Supervision

I provide clinical supervision that is collaborative, reflective and grounded in evidence-based practice. I aim to create a warm and thoughtful atmosphere where clinicians can bring challenges honestly, think creatively and continue developing with confidence.

Drawing particularly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, I help clinicians strengthen formulation, reflect on therapeutic processes and consider new perspectives in complex work.

Over the past decade, I have provided supervision to CBT therapists, clinical, counselling and health psychologists, and trainee psychologists in NHS and private settings.

Teaching and training

I design tailored teaching and training that translates psychological knowledge into practical, usable learning. Sessions can support therapeutic skills, formulation, reflective practice and the human dimensions of clinical work, including empathy, presence and emotional understanding.

Consultation and organisational wellbeing

I also work with organisations seeking psychologically informed consultation to support staff wellbeing, communication and emotional culture.

Consultation may include reflective spaces for teams, psychologically informed thinking about workplace challenges, and support with translating psychological ideas into practical, everyday approaches.

Let’s discuss your requirements

If you are looking for clinical supervision, teaching or training, or psychologically informed consultation, please get in touch to discuss what you need. We can consider the context, aims and format, and whether I am the right person to support the work.
